2015 Z/28 Maintenance Schedule

I got a 2015 Z/28 with 10,000 miles on it. Previous owner did two oil changes at 3000 miles and I did one at 9000 miles. As far as I know that's the only thing previous owner did. Now granted previous owner and I don't drive this everyday so putting 3000 - 4000 miles per year is a normal thing.

Question is, how often do you as a Z/28 owner change all the other fluids, besides oil? Coolant, break fluid, clutch fluid, rear axle fluid, manual transmission fluid, and other fluid I didn't mention here. I know GM maintenance schedule says 45,000 miles, but heck that could be 15 years or more from now.

Your input on fluid changes would be greatly appreciated. All the other parts, if it's worn out, I replace it. Tires, belt, bulbs, and so on. Main thing is fluid.
Thanks.

Rearend fluid was to be changed at 1st 1500 mi. So, I'd change it for the $12 qt and 10 min involved

And after every track event as well, just to be safe.

Man I wish I had a lift. Called the dealer and they want $189 plus tax for rear fluid change. I just can't get to it from rear under. It's a real simple job, drain the lower bolt and fill the upper bolt, on a even level ground.

Any ideas for DIY home project. At the dealer where I buy all my chevy charges me reasonably for oil change on my Z ,but other things not so. Quote from the dealer: "Oh the Z/28 is a very special car so it cost little bit more for service."

what you see in this pic is all i used to change the fluid. Doesn't need to be level. Just drain it and put a qt of fluid back in.

What Jon said. I've done it 6 times in my garage now. Hell, I've done everything in my garage, including trans. Just takes a little work and making sure you put the jack stands in the right spots. I buy all my fluids from Amazon.

Question: Is there an o-ring gasket needed when one changes the diff fluid?

If so, where to get/part number?

No o-ring gasket needed. Make sure you can crack open the upper fill plug before opening the lower drain plug. I would reccomend buying one of these that makes refilling the differential very easy, screws right onto the container:

Plews 55001 Lubrimatic Fluid Quart Pump, Fits Standard Quart Bottles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BQW5LK..._0YCuDbQV773D5
