Tire pressure on Nitto drag radials
So I'm gonna start doing some bracket drag racing on the weekends with my 2010 A6. Not much driving other than that, it's a bucket list thing with the car this year (maybe next). I have most major bolts ons including suspension (no cam or stall though and stock gears). My thought process is I should be able to run the drag radials at a higher PSI (maybe 24-26) than say the normal 18-20psi because I'm only putting down 450-460 at the motor (not the wheels). Is this correct thinking or are the Drag Radials set up to run at a certain PSI regardless if your putting down 450hp or 800hp?

Air pressure is case by case. Start at 25. Adjust accordingly if you spin or hook. Repeat.
I run 17.5 for most track situations. |

I usually start out at 22 and work my way down. For my ride 18-20 is the sweet spot depending on the day.
