Whipple Bypass actuator failure
While data logging I found that my LTFT's were +25. I couldn't find any obvious leaks so I did a smoke test and found that my bypass actuator had torn causing a large vacuum leak.

They do fail ... I had one go as well.
Luckily it is an easy and inexpensive fix. I make a point of inspecting mine regularly now when I have the hood up and motor idling. |

Hopefully the new one will be more stout. I was surprised how cheaply this one seems made.

I had a similar failure on my bypass actuator, it happened within the first couple of months after install. I contacted Whipple and they sent me one under warranty, maybe they know it's a bit of weak point?

Other then seeing it on the data logger could you tell something was different?
