Congrats Jon! We have our own first little one due in July too! We'll have to open a Z/28 owner's "new dads" forum section lol

They'll be inheriting the Z when I kick the bucket for sure! It's not going anywhere!

Changed my oil a few weeks back, 9,200 mile on the car and 3,200 on the oil.

Oil was fresh in Aug 2018. 2,150 mi was put on the car during a 1-week road trip in Sept 2018.

Blackstone reported back good news:

It's was under $9/sq ft, for the garage. This company wasn't even the most expensive, but were the most trust worthy, IMO.

Lots of variables with installation... it all depends on your existing conditions with their prep time and processes to make sure whatever they're putting down will adhere. Then the fit/finish what your want. You can get designs or logos in the layout.

I could of done just epoxy with flakes for under $8/sq ft. But this met our wants/needs.

Yes, slip resistant in a few ways. Water itself does not lay on the stone it seeps into the stone and drains as it normally would. Also they can put varying amounts of fine sand on top of the stone to for desired traction.

Had the car corrected and ceramic coated:
-compounded/polished all painted surfaces
-CQUARTZ Finest Reserve on the body
-CQUARTZ DLUX on wheels and calipers
-Gtechniq on all the glass
-detailed the interior
-detailed the wheel wells and suspension

Car has always been 'nice' with no true scratches or dents. However, the original owner swirled the paint in those 1st 3,000 mi he had the car. The wheels always had a haze due to swirls. The body is now 'perfect' and the wheels are extremely better (thin paint and numerous edges, can only do so much correction).

The ceramic coating and existing PPF provides the exterior of the car protection against road debris and maintenance washes for yrs to come. The XPEL PPF was installed last yr on the front end, hood, rockers, qtr panel impact area, and black rear bumper area.

Didn't have time for proper photos last evening
