New drag tires/rims

I just bought Racestar 95 Recluse rims in 18X10.5/18X8.5 to replace my stock rims/tires. For the rear I bought Nitto NT555R 305/45/18 (28.8" tall like stock size)

My question is, I'm looking at 235/55/18 radial tires for the front. They're 28.2" tall. Will this size work out O.K? Most of the tires seem to be rated to 130mph, is this O.K? My trap speeds are under 111mph.

Man I have a set of darkstars 18x10.5 with no tires. What made you go with the 555r and not the 05r?

They will work fine, they are within an inch of each other, so no issues with ABS/Stabilitrak. Make sure you tie back your E-brake cable and check it for rubbing.
