whistling noise coming from the fan belt area

I have a situation I hope to get resolved here. about a couple weeks ago I started to hear this sound....sounded like a whistling noise but faint. It has grown to a significant whistling noise and it sounds like fuel injection from the old days. My wrencher thinks it is from the blower(supercharger) says not to worry but go to chevy to be sure. As the revs increase so does the noise. It was never there before but now it is very evident.
anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I know, go to chevy but in case it takes me a few days to get there......
thanks.
fred
ps. I made a video but it says invalid file.

fredz, mine does that too when idling especially when I first start it in the morning. I can barely hear it and don’t notice it when driving. Seems my 2016 SS had the same noise but no issues ever showed up. I think your mechanic is right, nothing is wrong with your Z! No issues with my ZL1 so far!
