Thank you all for hangin out with us today, it certainly put a lot more fun in this daunting task.

The live feed blogging is cool, and fun, we will be doing more of it as we learn how to use it.

I want to thank all the vendors that stepped up to the plate.

Thanks to my crew Nick D. Mechanic, and Nick P. I.T.

Thanks to Don Bigdog and his family for helping out.

I have a lot of data to poor over, we learned alot today about the 2010 Camaro and how it responds to different MAF postions, filters and air box designs.

I will be sharing all my findings in my report.

Ted

if other companies like vararam end up having something to send you, will there be any other testing opportunities?

I would be willing to test other CAIs and report the results.

I wonder if it would be possible for some of us to offer some compensation to Ted and his crew for working the weekend away from family and their personal lives. Perhaps Ted has a PayPal account? Just a thought.

I don't want to "contaminate" the validity of these tests, nor do I want it to appear that there was any outside influence on the results, but what they have done will benefit all of us as consumers of these CAI units.

Certainly, Ted's business may gain a few customers from his efforts, but I am too far away to patronize his shop, as most of us are.

When I buy my CAI in the near future, that purchase will be based on facts of actual product performance. I will gladly donate $5 -$10 for that knowledge.

Look at it this way; if we can now buy a CAI that will provide us with an additional 5 hp over one that we might have bought otherwise, a $5 donation means it cost us $1 per horse power.....and in the automobile performance game, that is cheap power my friends.

Your thoughts?

Alfie

I think the customer declined the install.

Our scoop requires a slight cutting to a plastic panel just behind the lower grill driver side. His car is very low mileage and I can understand him not wanting it cut.

I do appreciate the offer, but that is not necessary.

All I ask is that you guys think of me when you want to modify your pride and joy.

Jannetty Racing is your One Stop Sales and Service Speed Shop, we sell and install ALL aftermarket products for all makes and models.

Jannetty Racing is only a click away, never too far to patronize, we ship parts world wide and offer solid accurate advice on bang for the buck modifications from mild to wild.

I make myself available for technical advice, by phone, email, and PM, tell me your goals and I will guide you the best way possible.

Ted.

While i'm sure Ted wouldn't mind a bunch of $$ coming in the mail for his efforts, i'll assume he did this for the community. His compensation will be his boosted reputation and hopefully some extra business that might come his way. I'm in no way implying he did this for the advertisement, but in the world of high performance, your reputation means EVERYTHING. I know that if I were in his area, i'd be using him. I will be considering him for some things I may need to order though.

Great work guys. It's always more fun when you have a couple hundred people watching and interacting.

EDIT: Looks like Ted posted while I was.
