I wish....now I am waiting on flywheels to be delivered. I figure it will be about two weeks til she hits the dyno. RS posted his dyno sheet a little further back in this thread, as I remember it was about 575 at the wheels.

I booked a room at the Holiday Inn in case my camping buddy don't make it.

I may camp anyways...LOL Won't be the first hotel room I booked to go unused..
Cancellation of said hotel room is always an option. LOL

That's where the partying will be..

We'll all be staring at Junkie's car with no keys to it.

Somebody better tape record the VROOM VROOM sounds it makes,
so we can play it at night 'round the campfire.

Hmm... 5 cars, Truck, big ass trailer, Monster tent, lil' tent, 2-3 pop up awnings.

Maybe we can get Lawdog to bring some of that yellow Police tape and rope the place off.

If we add a Disco ball, some music, and a tiki bar, we can charge admission! LOL

Junkie's museum and disco bar party!

Hi Guys and Gals!
How's your weekends been treating you? Well I hope! We finely had some decent weather here today and I got a lil street time in amongst all the chores.
Had to take the ball & chain to pick up her C6. We had it at her parents as they were babysitting it for a few weeks while I got the lift in the garage.
Played a little on the way home, a little comparing!
Lingy SS (AKA Firecracker) walked the C6 Roadster (AKA Scarlet) like no bodies business.
Somebodies a lil miffed!
I drove the car most of the time in "competition" mode.
In this "mode", from a dead stop (light), the car burned the tires until it was moving about 40 mph. I think the computer was working some control then as the car seemed to hesitate, grab, then continue to pull.
The misses was a lil pissed at that as she got a car full of exhaust, rubber, and supercharger whine!
We also nailed it from about a 65 MPH cruise, I said by-bye! Hit 135 in seconds and let off. She was still pullin like pissed off mule!
Later in the day I took Mrs. Windy to Hooters for lunch and ended up next to a Red C5. By-Bye! He was a lil perturbed!
I also got the car up on the lift today, checked out the dirty side. The trailing arms needed grease. I have some concern with these trailing arms and wheel clearance. There is plenty with the stock wheels but it seems like the trailing arms will be the limiting factor on going to smaller wheels. Also the Corsa exhaust is knocking against the center tunnel support. Need to change something there.
I know most of you guys have sticks, but I was amazed to find there is no dipstick for the auto tranny! Progress I guess.
I am continuing my education on chassis engineering. I've decided to buy a car scale so I can see what the heft is and whats going on at all 4 wheels. This way I can document changes I make and results.
So far the only thing I know for sure is Lingenfelter has done a marvelous job doing what they are good at. Transforming stock GM motors in to horsepower generating brick-houses!
PS: You guys (and gals) still waiting for your babies to come home, it's friggen worth the wait!
