Winter Tires Installed on 2LT (w/PICS)

Ordered my winter tires from tirerack.com a while ago. Finally decided to install them this weekend as we have had some snow and colder temps lately. They fit well and I think they are going to handle the snow just fine.

They are Goodyear Ultra Grip P225/60R18 tires and 18X8 Rims

Anyway, if you guys have any questions just ask

Did you get alloy wheels for winter driving?

Which wheels are those? I think those are the one's that I was looking at, but I'm thinking of getting them powder coated.

They are the Sport Edition 3 18s from tirerack.com. I got them for $89 each, but I see they are up in price now. And yes I got alloys, they didn't have many choices in the steel department. I wanted to drive in the winter in style anyway

Looks good. I'm curious about how it will handle in the snow given the power and everything that stabilitrac does on dry pavement (don't believe me? turn the system completely off and go for a drive).

Remember guys - 18's won't fit over the Brembos though.

The 18's I got from tire rack do clear the Brembos.

These are the tires I was considering, thanks for the photos of them (I wasn't sure how the 225/60R18 tires would look on the car, but they look good). How's the ride quality compared to the 20" Pirelli's?

ride is a bit louder and rougher, but really...not that noticable (plus i am still driving on dry pavement, once it gets a little wet/snow i probably won't even be able to tell a difference)

the car sits the same height (or a bit higher) now. the rims are 2" smaller, but the tires are so much thicker and the tread is so much bigger it sits the same or higher than before.
