Navigation stuck in Michigan
Hi, I recently purchased this car used a 2015 2ss and ever since I’ve got it I tried using navigation and it pinpoints me in Michigan?? I’ve tried pin pointing my actual location before but nothing has worked have you guys heard about this or know how I can fix it? I went to the dealer and they wanted $130 just to diagnose it so I was hoping there’s an easy fix I can do myself then having to pay the dealer to do it. Thanks!!

Idk, I would probably try to restore all to factory defaults.

![]() in the event you didn't know....there is a place in the infotainment system that has a selection that says "RESTORE TO FACTORY DEFAILTS" and try that.....the once PITA that comes with that is that you will have to set up everything you changed....but there ya go.

Try to contact the navigator provider. Did you reset all the settings by the way?

Pull the Mylink fuse and let it sit for a few minutes, then try again.

I think they gave you an accurate answer... will need to diagnose why it's not receiving the GPS location. Could be the shark fin antenna, cable, wire, module.... Anyone is guessing until they bust into the diagnosis. When it lost it's GPS reception probably defaulted back to engineering location. I doubt resetting factory settings will do it, it's not receiving GPS for some reason. Could try a battery disconnect as a wild guess. Sometimes modules get stuck in bizarre logic lock and a reboot clears out. If a battery disconnect doesn't get it back receiving GPS, just going to need to follow the service manual diagnosis for no GPS.
