EM...Although that was nice of Camaro_SS_LS3 to blame my tires on the way out there. I have to own up, I just don't get as aggressive on curvy roads I don't know.

Never say sorry for using caution. Arrive alive. You had young folks who learn from the us. Setting good examples will pay 10 fold. This from a Driver Ed instructor. YOU DID GOOD!

You all had a great time an d I regret not being there. Mrs. T and myself will make one of these events. Thanks for all the great pics and stories. See you next time

TC

My wife and I had a very good time and she only yelped because of my driving a few hunderd dozen times although I must admit that if I was the lead car we would have gone slower. It's a good feeling to have almost the same car ahead of you so if it makes the turn you can too.

I was completely worn out and my ankle was only a "bit" more swollen than normal after I took my shoes/socks off. the being tired worked well since I had an appointment to get my snow tires/wheels put on this morning.

I wish my video camera had some juice but oh well stuff happens.

I didn't download any of my pictures yet but most of them were from the caves.

It was fun hanging around the cars when you guys were out hiking the last 2 hikes. I saw alot of people driving by slowly obviously looking at our cars. People saying "I love this color", "this is what I would get", and my favorite "son this car is worth 45K" (worth it yes but didn't cost that much). I might have even sold some camaros with all the tecninical answers and enthusiasm I was giving out.

EM - yes I'm an IT geek too. application developer/DBA and slowly loosing all my technical skills by bossing around 3 other IT geeks and pushing paper.

my wife should be home soon so I have to get her acadia to get my performance wheels/tires from NTB.

ps... I swear my red stipe is a bit darker than EM's must be some weird optical effect since my red paint is darker.

I am all about some road corse driving. I drove down to Lexington KY today and had a really nice drive back on us68.

You didn't irritate me at all. I am not much of a speeder really. I liked the passes but long periods of speeding make me VERY nervous. I would have backed off very quicyly.

The cop did make me nervous and I was like OH NO EM DONT DO IT!!! All in all I had a WONDERFUL time. I am really up for anything, anywhere. I ate lunch today out at Ceasar Creek Park. Some nice places to picnic there. We will have to organize some things next year. Though the weather this week seems to be very nice, i am sure it will be short lived.

Awww, thanks. But I don't know how good of an example I set. That's something I'm trying to work on (my daughter is 14). I have a bad habit of complaining about "slow people" who are actually doing the speed limit - got to stop that, at least when kids are in the car!

Thanks for sharing! I haven't uploaded any - my few car pics are pretty much the same as those that have already been posted. My daughter and her friend took more pics of each other's butts than the cars.

I kept telling myself that because you were ahead of me! The others - bigger engine, different brakes, different suspension.

I figured you guys would get a lot of that! The gawkers continue to amuse me.

One reason I like to stay hands-on. OK, because I don't like the politics and have too low a tolerance for to manage.

Pics when you get them! I'm sure others would like to see how they look w/RJT.

LOL when I saw that cop, talk about being glad I didn't try to keep up with you guys that time!

I'm trying to think of ways I can coerce my brother into joining us with the ABL thing. He's a major gearhead and does body work too, AND does some electrical work. (He is an electrical engineer for the day job.) Multi-talented! But not very sociable. :( But with cars... maybe! And no, he still hasn't sent pics of our dad's '69. Have to bug him again.
