Installed Speed Engineering headers in the 20 degree Michigan weather and a custom tune from dynosteve! It was miserable but im glad I chose not to wait until Spring because man does it scream now

I’m doing a 14/15 style rear body conversion on my 2011 camaro. The hero taillights made me do it. I posted kind of a preview in another thread but it’s been killing me. The same day I bought the rear new trunk lid I also bought the bumper. I wanted to tear my car apart in the disassembling process but it’s a quite task that involves some cutting/riveting of brackets and buckets. I should just be patient for now until all parts arrive and then the madness will begin.
This shot makes the trunk lid look like a direct swap but beware it isn’t. Quote:
Enjoy that new burst of power and sound. Did you go 1 7/8” headers? I have S.E. LT headers and they have been problem free on my end.

My granddaughter washed it for me last night; so, I spent the morning putting on a good coat of wax and detailing it. Although it's a DD and 7 years old, it still shines up pretty good ..

Went out for a nice Sat morning drive... gorgeous morning, up until I hit some fog...
Was coming back home, still dark- fog cleared, and had some fun with a new Camaro SS, either a 19 or a 20. We exchanged a few thumbs up and admired each others' rides. We came up to a light and had a chance to punch it for a bit... kept it safe... I wouldn't call it racing, just... um, just a bit of aggressive acceleration... In Mexico, if conditions are safe... Anyway, I got a head start... the 315 NT555 G2's held nicely while I could hear him spinning behind me... I got about a car length ahead and he came up close to about my rear fender, but couldn't pass me... I laid off and he just kept going, heh.... Redlined my beast and just stayed ahead of him the whole way. That was nice... my adrenaline pumping, he must have been upset afterwards because he didn't stick around for a final thumbs up lol... I let him go but damn proud of this 5th gen, holding its own... Ahhh this ride....
