MAP sensor question.

Check engine light just came on. The code is P0106: manifold Absolute Pressure/BARO Sensor out of range.

Can anyone point me to a video or diagram where this sensor is located. Google didn’t come up with anything for my specific car.

Out of range means you might want your tuner to take a look. You might want to get a 2 bar. The sensor should be on the front of the manifold, passenger side if I can remember correctly. Early LS motors they were in the back.

Ok thanks. I’ll call him up before I replace it. Thank you.

Fix Attempt

Try cleaning the throttle body plates with some throttle bottle cleaner. It is an easy try to see if it fixes this code. If it does not work, you have not spent much time or money.

Talk to my tuner. He said if the car is still running as normal then the cold weather is colder than the perimeters of the tune. I’m going to swing by and have him cut it off.
