Had the pleasure of calling up my dealer today and told him what my vin# was. Found out today that my Camaro is on a railcar leaving Buffalo, N.Y. Used Camarotracking, and the Railyard Dist. posts to find out how to locate the car. She should be coming home next week, if she doesn't get lost in Port Newark.

FYI: the Avatar on the left was our first Camaro (1976), we sold when children showed up. Now that they're out of the house we're getting the ABM back with a few extras!

Well, for once, the dealer gave me info first! Got that VIN #!!!!! I'm holding my breath though because it's not on spastic squirrel. Skips over my Vin #. Was told it was built on the 17th, but something seems off here. Anywho, it's progress!!!!

Dealer called me today and said he was expecting my car to come in probably Thurs or Fri of next week. It was shipped on the 15th. I was going to track it, but idk now, I think I will wait till he calls me to let me know when it arrives. The suspense is great! I am savoring the excitement. Who knows when I'll ever get this excited about something again? LOL!!!!

Hi garcmol! You are probably right and I'll give in! Thinking about it now! Maybe next week I'll be driving it...wooo hoo!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like for the last year that this car is always on my mind. Hubby says I'm ate up with it. I ordered 2LT CGM. What color did you get?

For those interested in how long it could take. In my case, my camaro was posted on spastic squirrel 10/16. Was in Buffalo NY, on 10/18, then to Selkirk NY. 10/19 and finally at the Newark NJ rail station 10/20. Now I have to wait for them to unload and put onto a car carrier for her final destination. The dealer said this could take up to a week. So the long journey is coming to a close. Keep you posted
