2011 Camaro Side Curtain Airbag Deployment Help Needed

I track my car regularly and was running NT01's on 18's with an existing 1.25" suspension drop on the car already. The bags popped today mid-corner and scared the heck out of me before the car shut down and the hazards turned on. I was not hurt, no accident occurred but now I'm wondering what to do about this situation with all the warning lights and no useable seat belts.

Question - I am not interested in replacing the side curtain airbags. The seatbelts did this funky tighten-up thing when the airbags shot off and now no longer retract. Can I fix my seatbelts to work again and can I just cut the bags and snap the panels back on? How do I get rid of the dashboard airbag lights?

The seat belts will need to be replaced. They are designed to do that to hold you in your seat during a colision. I would do a search to see what track guys do to avoid this issue.

All the reading I have done confirms what you said on the seatbelts. I do think I can remove the side curtain airbags and put a resistor in line to fool the computer in turning off the airbag lights. - Thanks!
