Thoughts on this combo???

Just wanted to see what you guys think of this combo, and how much power it’ll put down. I’m assuming closer to 800rwhp if not over.

Car: 2014 SS 1LE

Currently installed
* BTR STG 4: Specs: 233/250 .619"/.595" 113+5
* Speed Engineering Headers/ No cats
* NPP muffler mod
* LS7 lifters
* C5r timing chain
* BTR pushrods/springs
* ZL1 pump
***Everything else stock***
•Current power: 500rwhp +-

Power adders
* ECS 1500 or ESS GX(3) s/c (Unrestricted if with ECS)
* FIC 127# injectors
* DSX Aux pump
* Flex fuel kit
• Power?

Car is 100% street, with your weekend highway on ramp pulls...

I am assuming you are going to be running e85 since you will have the DSX Aux pump. So ~800 is highly plausible.

I used to have the ECS kit running 93+meth and made just under 800 unrestricted.

You are good to go just size pulley properly... eLSeThree obtained over 800 with the G3X..

But if you only achieved 780 on the SBE - would you really complain?

In for the results...

Yes, e85.... Is your block still good? I’ve seen some threads on here with multiple guys pushing 800is+...1 camaro was at 1000 with stock everything.

I saw Els’ review. That’s why I was looking at that. The only thing that’s getting to me is their stake in the American market, warranty process (if needed) etc.. So far good reviews tho.

780rwhp... hell yes... 800rwhp just sounds koooooooler.. lol

Everything is still good so far. I have since switched to to TT and make around 900 now. I have been boosted for a total of about 8 yrs and total of 20,000 miles.

I don't drive it all the time, but when I do it's typically spirited driving in Mexico.

What pics do you want to see?

it sounds like either kit will get you 800. I dont know much about the 1500, besides it flows 1400 cfm. AJ once told me the G3X can flow up to 1900-2000cfm . However Im starting to think that might be a little inflated. Either way, with the biggest pulley they sent me (110mm) it made 14.7psi and 808whp.

Sounds like 800 might be near the top of the power out put for the 1500, where as its the bottom for the G3X.

You cant go wrong with either man, and I’m not trying to sway you. Good luck!
You’ll love either.

I’ve read your build pretty extensively. The unit looks hot. I just wish they had a BOV that’ll match the power, instead of adding another to the intercooler.

Good point. I agree. Ive mentioned it to AJ a few times, and he said it shpuld be fine. I think he meant it wont hurt the blower. But after working with Ted, we've found there is a massive amount of air pressure on the TB. Fixed now though.

But your argument also applies to any supercharger kit. The F1a and all those dont come with two surge valves. I dont know any kits that do. So you're in the same boat.
