You're right, they almost look right on identical, like I'm seeing double. If these are the base wheels, Chevy was right when they said that the entry-level wheels would be heritage-inspired. I like them a lot and they'd look awesome with a silver face and black in between!

They look more to me like the steel wheels on the mid 80's 3rd gen cars that were not Z28's.

Guess I'm just weird, but I don't really like 'em. I prefer the ones that we have seen on the RS cars.

They seem to be a combination of the two wheels that have been shown so far. The wheel itself looks more like the one I found, what with the spoke shape and the five "holes", yet the centercap pretty much looks dead on with what Captain Awesome posted.

Chevy is offering these instead of insulting us with wheel covers for the lowest price car, Great idea. I actually like these wheels there different.

Wink

those were the ones i was thinking of that were on some camaros late in the 2nd generation. my malibu had them but they were stolen, i replaced them with the ones that were on that red 'base' camaro coupe earlier in the thread. I personally like the 18" steelies that were in the 1st post i kind of like them better than the 20" alloys that will be part of the RS package. if only they came in aluminum :(.
