I'm from Houston (Go to school at UT Austin... HOOK 'EM!). I'm finishing up my last semester doing a fellowship in Washington, DC. I work for an... unmentionable agency and taking a full load of classes. I'll be done on December 17, but I'm going to visit family during Thanksgiving for a few days. Which is why I am hoping the car gets here in about a month! I'll have to leave it in the garage for 2 more weeks after that, but it'll be worth it!

When you guys are talking about the $500.00 off the price, where did that come from? I asked my dealer and he looked just like this little guy
I would just like to show him something to back it up.

your dealer knows what your talking about--it's the 60-day guarantee opt out and you get a $500 credit towards your purchase price--I think it's dealer discretion to participate or not however; GM feels it's easier to give $500 now than taking a "slightly" used car back reconditioning it and trying to sell it again...if he plays dumb again just have him turn on any TV and watch his CEO on the latest GM commercial explain it to him!!!

Two said the dealers told them the car has shipped, one expected by 10/30 the other 11/05. hopefully ours will start rolling in by 11/10....
