On an ls3 turbo car the intake manifold (and cylinder heads too) shouldn't really even be discussed unless we are talking 1000+whp builds

Actually yeah, I have seen a LOD intake on a turbo ls3 that lost a ton of hp/tq everywhere besides at 7000rpm where there was a tiny blip of like 15hp gain. That car will absolutely be slower in any form of racing vs the stock manifold. Highram is a great manifold is you have the turbo to carry into high rpms My ls3 with a 78/75 peaked power just under 6000 and so do many others. Its turbine side is too small to make big power on a 376 or similar size engine I don't care what else you have, thats the limiting factor. If yours is any different than post up a dyno sheet and prove me wrong

But once the track is open again in May don't worry, I'll post my timeslips from all the different combinations and you can either say "see I was right" or I'll be wrong. Either way I'm gonna try it out, especially since my engine already revs out passed 7k as is there should be no reason it's gonna stop now. Sent from my LG-H933 using Tapatalk

Btw, I never said MY combo even had an LS3 in it, my engines a few cubes less than that...but it has GPI LS3 heads as stated before.

But your sig says LS3/TR6060...time for an update What type of exhaust are you running to keep the back pressure down? DO you have any pics of the turbo kit installed? I would be interested to see it. Cheers, Dan

Watch a video of any big cam LS3 + TH400 combo drag racing, the only time the Rpms are below 6k is right off the line when launching beside that you're almost always 6000-7500+ between every gear shift. Regardless of what my sig says, lots of guys NA and boost love the Holley high ram, and since this BTR intake is basically a low profile high ram. I wanted to give it a shot because a lot of guys aren't willing to cut there cowl and a lot of other guys don't wanna spend $1500+ either...so the BTR seems like a good option at that point because the Holley mid-ram doesn't make any power anywhere...so where do you go? Anyways, I'll update with results when I have them. Sent from my LG-H933 using Tapatalk

Think that’s why many people just do the rod mod to a stock one and port of if staying NA. There really isen’t a lot of great options out there since the stock one is a really good as is.

3rggen3 - if drag racing is your main goal, then the BTR should be pretty good although it will fall a bit short to the HiRam - but you don't have to cut your hood or cowl.

And just like that BTR/FedEx outdoes themselves and the intake showed up 2x days earlier than expected
