Question 2012 Camaro 3.6 multimedia memory

Hi all. My car doesn't have color display. Any idea how to enable memory for multimedia system to continue from last position for USB mp3 tracks?

Every time after power off it begins to indexing my USB drive and plays the first song. I use 32GB in FAT32.

Very furious.

Your best bet to solve this is going to be to replace the USB drive with an MP3 player which will be capable of what you ask. SanDisk, used Apple iPod Touch or Nano are a couple of options. I have a 32GB iPod Touch 6th Generation that I got on eBay for around $50 that I mostly just leave in the Camaro as a dedicated music player.

Hi again. I can't understand it. Sometimes I have my music continues from the last position, even in mornings, but in 90% cases car begins to scan and indexing USB drive every power-up.

How do you think, what it depends from ?

Make an mp3 playlist.
If you don't have a playlist, it will rescan and make a playlist of its own.

Its very interesting thing, sometimes it can remember the last position of the last song on the USB drive but in 95% cases it begins to scan USB drive again...

Today I unplugged accumulator for the 20 minutes and after power-on car started with the latest song. I can't explait it. Is it my multimedias issue ?

Yes but I prefer navigation by folders, playlist has all bands in one list
