Yup like everyone has said to run E85 (really E50-60) you will need LT4 fuel system.

I have a 2.75 pulley if you want to bring the boost down to 7-8psi which is what I had it at. Still made 630wheel (remember with LT4 fueling).

My honest opinion save a bit more and get the fueling its totally worth it... 550w with the added blower weight will still make you slower than a few all motor bolt-on cars and definitely slower against cammed 6 gens.

Do that all from the get-go, same some money on retuning and another labor as they all have to be taken out when installing the lt4 blower anyway (except the intank pump).

HP limit LT1

Well. I think the limiting factor on the LT1 using an Lt4 blower assuming you are fueling it correctly is going to be the weaker piston in the LT1. As long as you stay around 650 RWHP or less you PROBABLY will have a relatively long life on the engine. The weaker material of the piston and basically the ring gap setup on the LT1 piston is NOT ideal for higher boost situations.

You could try finding out what pullies ADM or Weapon-X use when they put an LT4's blower onto a stock LT1 motor to get the 6-7psi of boost that you wanted.
true dat, and the LT1 used the a cam with a MUCH larger intake duration (where the power is made). The LT1 has the same lobe cam spec as the LT5 (which is a LT1 "manual" or AFM delete cam). The combined effect of higher CR and bigger intake duration (sure it is mostly CR) seems to work very well upto the octane limit of the fuel.

I will say it again
