Is it surging?

Context: 2013 LT 100% stock.

I recently had all 6 injectors replaced and an intake manifold gasket replaced as it was leaking.

The car felt fine after it came back, no raw gas smell, no stalling when coming to a stop but I did notice a little bounce in my RPMs... it was more obvious for the first drives but now its more stable, I would say it never “surged” more than +100rpms but I could definitely see it bouncing up, never dropped below 550rpms at warm idle.

Am I going crazy? Does it look normal to you? The video below was recorded at a stop after a 15 min drive, normal city drive pace. I’ve used the AC on a hot day and RPMs look nice and stable.

Thank you!

Oil pressure gauge seems bouncy too. Again, is this normal? By the time I recorded this I had driven her for about just 3 miles for the 1st time today on a 80F weather.

First Camaro owner here and had barely driven her for about 4 months

Completely normal, the ecu has a set point for the idle speed (say 550 +/-) at the same time it tries it best to keep it at 550 but you'll always find 30 rpms fluctuation if not more.

I remember reading about this issue you had in your other post.
Can you tell me what the intake manifold gasket was leaking?
I thought I read that after you had the injectors replaced it ran good then you smelled gas again.

It was a vacuum leak, it ran “ok” for a day. Then as I was getting closer to my home it felt a bit rough/shaky when I came to a stop and finally when parking on my garage the car simply stalled.

Luckily I was already home

But I thought u smelled fuel again?
I’m obviously wrong
Hopefully they didn’t charge you again for that issue

Appreciate you elaborating a bit on this!

Yeah I was still smelling gas but it was a “leftover” effect from the injectors’ mess ~ 2 stuck open injectors that resulted in raw gas leaking from the exhausts ~

No additional fuel leaks were found after taking it back to the shop that 2nd time.
