2012 camaro airbag issue, help!!!

So I have a 2012 Camaro ss that was involved in an accident. Due to the accident, the steering wheel air bag blew and the seat belts sealed up. I replaced the steering wheel airbag with clock spring, sent the seat belts and air bag module to safety restore . Com to get redone. I installed all the parts and everything works great. The issue I’m having now 1) is the airbag light is still active; and 2) when I put the scanner on the car, it can’t even read the airbag light code....

Anyone have any help???

Try re-booting the entire system by Pulling the SRS fuses out for 1/2 hr then re-install.

If you sent the air-bag module back to have it reset (crash data removed), then there
should not be a light. Call them and ask THEM why the light is still on. Also, it would
stay on if you still had battery power when removing or installing the wheel with the
airbag.

You need to get a scanner that can read and clear SRS codes.
