I was going to order a bare bones 1SS/RS but am really happy I found this one.

I just took delivery last week. If anyone is debating between the Flat Black or CGM stripes on yellow, definitely go with CGM. You almost can't tell they're not black, especially at night. And the gloss finish with metallic fleck are awesome! I also opted for the gray interior and the two-tone looks great. So if you're debating between black interior or gray, go with the gray. This car is bad-ass! The V6 has pep and averages over 20mpg.

This car was built on 9/14/09 so I thought it would have the backup sensors but it didn't. That's good because I saw a Camaro in the showroom with the dots on the bumper and I prefer not to have it.

Picked it up yesterday and is this thiing incredible. For those of you that are still waiting ..... it is so worth the wait.

Thanks, the old gas pumps are just for show....they are complete, just don't dispense fuel.

I have a 1LT and it doesn't have the ambient lighting on the doors. I think you have to order the RS package or at least 2LT to get the ambient lighting. Personally I really like my 1LT and it is a great car for the money even without the HID/Halo/spoiler of the other cars. I really like my 19" wheels and sleek look of the 1LT and 2LT with out the RS package. Its all personal preference.

Picked up my IOM 2LT 6M on August 28th. I finally got around to taking a few pictures today. Absolutely love the car. The V6 has all the power and acceleration I'll ever need or use.

Built Sept. 21-23
Delivered to dealer last Tuesday (I called and told them it was coming).
Drove off that afternoon with 7 miles on the odometer. (thanks Cowboy Chevrolet).
Finished hard break-in last Saturday (HARD break-in...watched a few episodes of Dukes of Hazard, grabbed a football helmet and rope to tie myself in and went drivin').
I've had several Firebird/Camaro V8's and a LT1 over the years, but this LS is my favorite by far. Maybe because I'm older or the car is just a bit more refined. It gets down to this, rear wheel drive, four wheel disc brakes, six-speed manual trans and 300 HP and a lot of comfort and extras at no charge (the tilt/telescoping steering wheel is sweet). This is just simply what a car should be.
BTW, did I read here that LS's represent only 10% of all 2010 orders? If so, I've got a real sleeper.

went to my dealer last night for an oil change on my 2009 tahoe, while i was waiting for it i asked the same salesman that sold me my tahoe ltz if they have seen any camaro ss's yet, told we have one its a red with white rally stripes took one look at it and bought it last night still keeping the tahoe love that truck but picked up my new toy this morning, i really wish it would quit raining so i can go play with it.

So I got her about two weeks ago.

2SS / RS / A6 / L99 / IOM / IOM / splash guards

I guess my story is just like most of y'all's

ordered without a test drive
relied on reviews and testimonials, mostly from camaro5.com
waited on pins & needles, checking C5 near-daily for status updates -- thanks Viz!
knew about every detail of the car long before delivery -- thanks again C5
feel like a kid again; I grin and forget about my troubles when I think about what's in my garage
flawless experience with the car so far -- thanks GM & Chevy

I must admit that in the weeks before she arrived, a few doubts had crept into my brain -- will there be problems with visibility? will it feel "heavy" when driving? understeer? will I get a "slow L99" and have to mess around with fuse pulls periodically? But it all melted away within minutes from the dealer lot.

So bottom line is that I have not always been much of a "car guy" and certainly no "gear head" but this is truly a car I feel passionate about. I loved my '98 'maro too but really there is no comparison. She's exactly what I want in a car. Rock on.
