So yesterday I was driving my truck, just minding my own business, working on some data logging for my new Whipple install, when all of a sudden I lost power steering and battery voltage dropped. So, I immediately pull over, thinking I threw a belt (again, due to a pulley downsizing), but lo and behold, what do I find?? How about a broken belt tensioner. I mean, it was BROKE!! The housing for the spring was broken completely in half.

By the way, all of this happened at about 9am EST, so it's not like I can call Whipple for a p/n or something. So, I remember reading in the forums about Janetty and them doing lots of Whipple installs, so I gave them a call. I should probably mention that I have never purchased anything from Janetty Racing, but that didn't stop them from calling their 'contact' at Whipple and getting me a p/n that I could source locally. Awesome!!

That sucks being stuck on the side of the road. Ted and everyone over at Jannetty are great. Their customer service and attention to detail is amazing. I'm fortunate enough to live only 30 minutes from them and they've done a lot of the work on my car. I'm really happy with the car!
