Hi everyone,

Thinking im in need of a new alternator for my 15 1LE. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a significant difference between the 3 different alternators listed for a ls3.

Gm parts direct shows the newest model as GM part #13597233 which replaces part numbers 13501721 & 13588310. A local junkyard has a pull-off alternator from a ls3 with only 15k miles on it for far cheaper than a new one would cost me but it’s one of the older part numbers. Does anyone have an idea on the differences? Attached is a link to the part numbers.
