I had a truck done by Lingenfelter in Indiana about 5 years ago and from dropoff to pickup was almost 3 months.
That was for base dyno, supercharger, cold air intake, headers, cated y pipe, and cat back exhaust.
Post mod dyno and road tuneing.
Was well worth the wait. Till I tradded it for my Z28 and I dont regret doing that.
Good luck and take care.

If they have all the parts it shouldn't take more than a week. Maybe 2 if you give them some extra time to fit in other things and possible absences. There's no reason it should be a month in my opinion that's just poor time management.

I did. Keep getting “by end of week.” “Just realized we don’t have the blower”, and this was a week ago... I get that there’s covid.

I agree. Paid for all the parts on the 23rd of February. Allotted 4-6 weeks for parts, especially the blower. Dropped the car off in April 23rd. Let’s just says 40hrs for SC install/fuel/gauges/tune/mount balance 4 tires. That’s pretty fair right?

Idk. I’m just getting the itch.

I would have waited until all the parts were in before dropping my car off. How do you just realize you don't have the sc 4 weeks in?

I was told to drop it off bc they had everything. That’s a very good question. That’s like the rib eye steak of the whole build.

Then you've got every right to be pissed off. They dropped the ball.

This is usually the biggest and most telltale sign of a poorly run business. Poor time management, ie. overbooking, will usually manifest itself in poor workmanship and overall build quality, shortcuts taken, etc. These businesses will have to rush certain jobs to regain that lost time/money to try and catch up, and corners will get cut. It usually leads to dishonesty as well, and you can probably imagine why.

Not saying that is what's happening here, as it may be a legitimate reason (Covid19, waiting on parts, supplies, and shipments, etc.), but I have dealt with plenty of businesses that are run like that.

That’s what I’m afraid of. Being patient as possible. Been in Biz for 9-10 years, maybe longer. So they gotta be doing something right.
