Hood Insert that has supercharger clearance
Anyone find a hood insert that fits a supercharger?
I have a LS3 with a LSA on it and need to solve the clearance issue.

It doesn’t fit with your 14 hood? Oh man that means same prob for me I just painted my hood :(

It’s just the insert. The drip tray hits the top of the front of the lid and the coolant hose.

I had the same clearance issue on my 2014 after installing a Maggy. I found one at SLP which is shallower and gave clearance for the supercharger.
I just looked on SLP's web sight and didn't see them, however Summit racing has them, part #620032. Hope this helps. Last edited by RACERJOE1; 05-25-2020 at 10:56 AM. Reason: Added comment. |

I was just going to say that SLP has one that is more clearanced for the lower hood. That's the reason why the 5th gen ZL1 didn't get a front end update, it's because they couldn't get the hood to close.

It is here and it is in. Drip tray bolts not long enough but still happy. Looks great and plenty of clearance.
