Congrats. Now for a cam.
I get kinda obsessed. I’m eyeing a BTR stage Stage 2 or 3 Cam kit for LSA. Also thinking of a new exhaust system. First, I need to get caught up on the projects my wife has been saving for me to get done.

I like West Michigan’s kit, all of the harnesses were very helpful. The instructions could have used more photos, but Mike is available by phone and ready to help walk through. I called him a ton of times and he was always happy to help me. I also had Don’s build page on my iPad to compare to, he has a bunch of photos. Don went in a different order, but I was able to navigate between the two sets of instructions and get it done.

On a last minute impulsive buy I went with a Whipple. Fortunately I'm only a 15 minute ride to Jannetty and we went over the pro's and con's when comparing the two blowers when I stopped by there this morning. I spent a good chunk between the Whipple, injectors, voltage booster and other items I needed, but I'm getting old and wanted the easiest one to install......lol.

Kudos to you for your build and this thread! I learned a ton by reading through it everyday.

No doubt a Whipple will be an easier build, got everything you need in one transaction. That is going to be awesome I’m sure you will very happy. I talked to Ted on the phone with some questions when I was getting g started he is very helpful.

Update, scoop will be here Thursday. I consider that to be build complete.

Tune is closing in on as good as it will get remotely. Third tune and finally got the training wheels off, he said I could give it some gas. WOooooo HOOOOO! The LSA is great boost tips out at about 8.7 (on LSA crank and 2.8 upper). Didn’t take it over 103 mph on my favorite back road, but how easily it flys. Just grinning.

I have a gauge pod coming and dyno. That will wrap up the project after that I will post some final costs for those looking to do the project.

I giggled at this. I thought I was done with my car back in December but another few bucks and here I am today doing data logs and sending them to my tuner LOL. Enjoy the boost but you might want more!

All kidding aside enjoy the build. It’s a hell of a project you undertook. A scan gauge is SUPER convenient to have and reference too

I’m with you. This is a chapter closing, but the story isn’t over. Camshaft? Gears? Fuel pump? Who knows...

Scan gauge? Hmm, I was thinking of a boost gauge maybe. I will look into a scan gauge too.

Scan gauges like the Aeroforce Interceptor and HPTuners Ngauge can read boost among a ton of other parameters.

Glad to hear your install is pretty much done. Congrats!

I got it from RDP (forum vendor) and they offer a forum discount. Highly recommend.
