Yesterday I finally installed my Texas Speed Longtube Headers and I am so excited to finally have them in. Let me know how it sounds!

It's a good one to start with. Post header installation video is always a great way to start. Now, you gotta do what I'm about to install on my car...exhaust cutouts! (Technically full on diverters through Noweeds which is even louder, but super awesome!)

A cam is definetly one of the next steps after I get some new wheels. What cam would you reccomend that I get? I would want something that gives a good sound and performance without hurting drivability too much.

Now you need to go out and get a feel for your newfound power on the upper rpm range.

But be careful of course.

The answer to this question is as numerous as the number of cam options available. I would ask what your end goal is before recommending a cam. If you're staying NA then you'll go one route, turbo another, positive displacement cam another, centrifugal supercharger another one yet, and nitrous a different route still.

Personally I'm running a BTR stage II NA cam on a stock converter in my Camaro and it does the job quite nicely. Most people cringe at the stock converter aspect of it, but I'm not racing the car so I don't have the extra need for an aftermarket converter right now. If you're looking at a positive displacement blower I'd recommend a BTR stage III pds cam. They make great power and compliment positive displacement blowers very nicely.

Thank you guys for all the help! I’m looking to stay NA. Cam is definitely in the future!

Sounds great. When I added headers it was the best thing I have done so far. There are days I still ride with the radio off just to hear her growl. Enjoy!
