So i recently purchased a k&n cai for my 2012 ss just curious if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with the brand

Really no significant gains from any of them except for the Injen long tube that extends down through the bumper.
I have the blackwing tube with free flow filter in the stock box and I felt a noticeable difference at mid rpm. Go figure. lol! |

cant confirm actual gains but the car feels a tad more responsive and it sounds nice under the hood

It's not a bad intake. IMO, there's a couple better, but for the price point K&N really isn't a bad intake at all.
Gains will be minimal at maybe 10rwhp on a cool day, but the real gains come with additional mods. A stock air box can only do so much with other aftermarket mods.

10 years and no issues ever. The only thing I noticed was the sound it makes under the hood and the throttle response was a lot crisper quicker.

Probably ads about 10 rear hp
I didn’t notice much until I added the rotofab washer relocation and it sucked up much cooler air. Great item for the price been rocking mine since January when I got the car.
