Well, you can laugh and shun all you want, I put this stuff in my power steering
reservoir, with the PS fluid. That, and and radiator, and BOTH stopped leaking:

Oh, yes I did. Maybe 1/4 of the bottle I put in the PS pump reservoir.

The metal flakes get stuck in the leak areas.

When pouring it in, some stayed up top, in the fill neck of the PS pump. After
300+ miles, I opened it up, and pulled a piece of very thin metal out, almost like
a washer. IT melted together, and dried out, and was a bonded thin washer, and
I mean, like metal shaving thin. Was pretty neat that it did that.

So, all the leaks in the PS hoses are gone, and the upper right side tank of the
rad stopped leaking.

So, hey, whatever, I took a shot, and it worked. Turned my PS fluid a milky color
too. After a while, I sucked it out with a pump, and put fresh fluid in. Still no
leaks, so hey, over 45,000 miles later, and no leaks. I am around 162,000 miles on
the car now.

I was thinking since it only punctured one of the bottom 3 rows, I could just re-route the fluid through a power steering cooler? Might that work?

It's your project/hot rod Camaro, not a farm truck. FIX IT CORRECTLY!

Oh don't misunderstand it! It is a totally temporary fix, I just need to know if it would work well enough, until I can get in a better situation to really get the cooling squared away!

New A/C condenser and aluminum rad are on the way for sure, I just don't have so much money to throw at the thing after it had the bad tune and transmission issues...

I don't want to bust your chops but....you had the money for all those mods, but now your scrambling to fix it properly? I'd just put it on the credit card. Fix it right and be done with it.

My $.03.

The PS cooler is in the Rad, and stays as hot as your coolant. You're better off
running it through a separate cooler, or, from the output of the rad, into a small
aux cooler. I plan on doing that on mine, if I ever get around to it, a separate
cooler.
