Question Mishimoto baffled Catch can question

Hi Guys,

I've installed mishimoto oil catch can (PCV side). Oil consumption goes high after installing. Before was 1 quart per 5000km now is 1 quart per 1200 Km. And it too noise (weird air noise). Who noticed this?

I cant see how a catch can could be responsible for a high amount of oil consumption. Thinking you have other issues such as rings, valve seals ect
