all the matters is the interest rate. Check around they vary wildly. BOA has a good deal going now but part of that rate is with a (fee) or buy down so take that into account when comparing rates. My credit union and bank was higher than the dealer, so I went with dealer at 4.9%

$5k down, 6.9% interest, $620 per month for 72 months. (2SS)

But were paying $2k/month on it to pay it off quicker. We only got the 72month loan because, on a longer loan they will give a lower interest; more time to make money off you. I think if I paid the minimum this car would end up costing $51k in the end.

IBM 2SS/RS with ground effects, sunroof, 6 speed manual....Sticker was 39900....paid 39400 minus the $500 for ditching the 60 day return period. Added GAP insurance and Tire/wheel road hazard plan (each around $500 I think)

0 down, no trade in, 4.19% 72 month loan from GMAC..I also financed in 5% sales tax so I didn't have to write a $2200 check......$662 a month total.

Canadian here. I was offered 5.99% for 60 months, or 6.99% for 72 months through my local dealer. My bank, Bank of Montreal, can't come close to this. They were 11% for 60 months! Car will be $48000 after taxes. I am putting $20000 down, finance the remaining $28000. At the 5.99% monthly payments are $541 and cost of loan is $4471. At 6.99%, monthly payments are $477 and cost of loan is $6361, big difference!

$1000 under msrp. Less $500 deposit Less $500 rebate (in lieu of 60 day return deal). 4.89% for 72 months = $569 month
