2012 Zl1 hood on a 2011 SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey I wanted to know if the 2012 zl1 hood is able to fit on a 2011 SS. I don’t want to cut up my current hood and use an insert. I am kinda looking for an entire hood with the 2012 zl1 heat extractor. So does anyone know if it would fit and where I could find the hood itself?

FYI
The hood extractor for the ZL1's came in two styles.
The standard extractor was painted black
The exposed Carbon Fiber version was a $600 option, but to buy just the ECF extractor these days from GM will set you back around $3,000.00

As far as fitting, the ZL1 hood may bolt on, but I don't believe the style lines at the front of the hood will match your 2011 SS.
