Credit Union and Usaa Discounts - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi guys i need some help,

How do i get these two discounts? For The credit union discount do i need to join a certain credit union? If does anyone know of any participating credit unions in the phoenix az area? Also for the usaa discount i already have insurence would i have to switch to there insurence company to get there discount?

Thanks guys for any help i am going to start camaro shopping next week and i wanna try to get the best deal i can.

Just prove you are a USAA member... show your card and it's $750 off... no insurance required... All the info is on the USAA website and also here in C5... with a quick search.

To be a USAA member you have to be in the military

Or associated with someone who is... My son is a USAA member with all the benefits and has never been in the military..

how about for the credit union discount? do i need to join a certain credit union? If does anyone know of any participating credit unions in the phoenix az area? Also does the credit union discount come off right when you buy the car or do you get a check sent to you?

Keep in mind, not all dealers are honoring discounts. You'll want to check with the dealer before ordering/purchasing your camaro.

JImmy Johnson Chevy does NOT participate But do honor USAA $750 and 60 waiver of return $500.

When you register, it will have a HUGE list of credit unions in your state that you can choose from. You must register if you want the discount.

Its all on the Dealership. Its not mandatory from Government Motors for Dealerships to accept the Credit Union discount. Even when you do find one, they are located a couple states away. THere are a couple dealerships in here that will give you the discount(s). Good luck.

Used to be... so it qualifies my kids whether they live with me or not. They have relaxed some of their membership requirements. Doesn't hurt to check.

ALL dealers will honor the USAA discount. The money comes from USAA.

Actually, not all dealers will "honor" it. I was told that I might not qualify from one dealer, and got the distinct impression they were planning on pocketing the money and not telling me about it.
