You gain nothing from an H pipe but a deeper tone. Cut out the large l99 resonator and put the h pipe anywhere in the middle.

There is zero gain from an x pipe or h pipe. Most high end catacks come with x pipes. Close to the front for better scavenging.People are really over thinking this.

That's the best spot for it. Like stated, if you look at all the aftermarket cat backs, that is where the X is, and also where the H should be as well. Good luck, hope you find the sound you want with the stock cans... Has your AFM/DOD been deleted in a tune? If not it is going to sound pretty crappy to you with a louder sound when it activates.

Stock NPP seems optimal gor performance and sound for an H. I have a X now (because full 3") and its different; its less muscle but more high pitch. You just want to let it rev with a X. With an H I feel its a bit louder. I had both with NPP mufflers.

I put H pipe sound back to stock) little bit louder from stock. On straight pipe it was more agressive
