My salesman called yesterday to inform me that I was 3400 for 10/26, with expected delivery 10-14 days after that...so second week of November...I'm kickin tires and lightin fires!

Hi everyone just found this thread. The last time my status was checked I was at 3300 10/26/09. I hope I have moved up to 3400 by now. I have been waiting for a Viz update , but no Viz. For those looking for updates, try this, go to camarotracking.com and sign up...verify your email address and check back immediately for your status. I'm not sure if this works before you have a vin, but it might...always worth a try, especially since you will need it later on to track your cars.

I went to Camarotracking.com. to check my status and I didn't get any status info. It just said my last update was current.

Im still a bit confused why we have to go through 'somebody' who then punches it into some computer. I would gladly punch the buttons myself

Hmmmmmmm...the new camarotracking.com site is new today. It is an automated system, so you don't have to wait for someone to look up the information for you....but it may just be for those with vins at this point. It may help you guys later in the week to find your vins. Since it is tied to the GM computers, I think, it may not update on the weekends. Hopefully there will be more news about it at some point.


Update....Camarotracking.com has a new look to it...! Wake up to the ease of simply entering your order number, your vin or you email when its been registered to find your information. Set it up to recieve automatic email notification of changes in your status. And this one system tracks and displays Pre Production data as well as Post Production data. Inside it is a forum dedicated to helping with your tracking questions. You will need to sign up and sign in to use it but it should make everything so much easier. By the way the Pre Production update from yesterday is already loaded inside so check for your most current status..Oh and we converted the codes to english to make it even easier. Thank you to all those that have worked so hard on this project to make it reality.

To track your pre production order automatically just visit camarotracking.com and enter your order number and follow the registration instructions. Thanks to Eric Pre Production is now part of this one large system. Oh and when he issues a vin number you are seamlessly updated with post production info.....No more multiple sites or requests...Wow technology is so cool! Larry

I don't believe you have to do this anymore...the new automated system is supposed to do it for you, and if you set up the email alert it should update you when your status changes.

I just registered on the site, but it just came back with the result of "none" for my order status. Im not sure how that helps. Am I missing something? Does it not work on weekends? I just find it funny how you can track a 10 dollar package on ups/fedex, but you cant track a 30,000+ car.... Maybe its a dealer installed option... j/k

They could at least turn on the on-star at the factory and let us track the cars with that...

I'm not sure about the new tracking system, since this morning is the first time it's been up and running. Check it out again in a little while, it might take a bit to update and get your info entered for the first time....especially since it's the weekend.
