ZL1Addons Strap Point Brackets
Has anyone installed them? If so, what is you review? Good, bad, convenient positioning?
I currently tie down through wheels spokes which is fine, bit the straps have a tendency to mar the finish. I have NO interest in climbing under to wrap around arms and such -- looking for a quick click and go set up. https://zl1addons.com/collections/ca...5-strap-points TIA |

I have looked at these a time or 2 but just don't think they would gain much from and still keep from getting under the low front, I cross strap front and rear to the A- arm brackets and yes it sucks every time...Rear not so much. What I don't like about the ZL1addons is how long they are and single mounting point that appears the would just pivot over and pull up against the frame if you cross strap as I do. Maybe someone else that has used them will chime in that has used them on the Z/28 with the under tray that makes this such a pain.
I have also got a set of 2.5" Race ramps to get the front up a little in the trailer to see how that works out but have been waiting most off the summer for new trailer to come since selling my old one so I can't say yet how that will work out but I think it will help. Open trailer I would think would be much easier to reach under to strap but thats not an option for me at this point. Good Luck |

I have them. They work great. I too, cross the front straps and it is totally fine with how low it is. The fronts do not pivot but the backs did at first until I retightened. I cross strap the rear too, and the only thing I dont like (which may be my straps) is the hook hits and rubs the exhaust if I don't position it right. Otherwise they are awesome and are so easy to just clip the hook rather than looking for a spot and making sure you have clearance everywhere. And sorry, I have no pictures!
