Burnout is fine, watch out for wheel hop.
But when you do pop your axles, I have an extra set.

Yes, just don't get too rowdy. What I mean is if you feel the rear end start hopping let out and if you were a manual, no 6k rpms clutch drop.

Oh yeah. No worries at all. Although I am not much of a fan of burnouts here is a quick sample in my 2013 SS/RS:

That a girl danial! Looks like she was having a blast! Hope we get too hook up at laps for charity again this year. I was pretty disappointed when they canceled Camaro con.

Here’s the evidence a day later of one of mine.(not done in my truck haha) the rubber goes all the way to my truck. As said above, don’t let it hop and your axles will be fine. I never return to the scene of the crime in the same day in the same car.

Ok wheel hop and really sticky tires will pop the axles.By sticky I mean drag radials Et streets etc.
So stop if you feel wheel hop.
And have a spare set if drag racing.
Other then that have fun.

This isn't true. Only early 2010s had an axle issue There are many members here running big horse power numbers with stock reared and have been for ages. And drag radials will not cause beakage either. Wheel hop is the only thing that's a threat. Can a rear break
..... sure but it's the exception hardly the norm.

Good one!
I would love to do the Laps for Charity again. That was a blast! If they do happen to do that again this coming February, let's be sure to get together so we can drive in the same group.

If they open it up, Rain and I will be there. We seem to get Vegas withdraws if we don’t go every couple months and it’s been about 6 since the last time we were there. That Feels like a hell of a long time that’s all I know.
