Bridgestone RE 070R R2 tires

Hey guys, just wanted to give anyone looking for tires a heads up on a close out deal Tire Rack is running now. They are selling the subject tires in our size for $124 bucks. These normally go for over $400. The only downside for me is they are run flats and I do track the car occasionally so I dont like the extra weight. They are a sticky 140 treadwear rating and they were the OEM tire on the Nissan GT-R so I figured they cant be too bad, especially for the price ! Got my first track day with them in a couple weeks so I'll report back if anyone is interested. So far on the street I like them

Got a link?

I don’t see them online in our size?

Never mind-found them.

Had one set of run flats on a 2006 Corvette I had ,and I hated them .Switched to Nitto Invos and the car felt better in every possible way ,it road smoother, handled better, hooked up better and I never got a flat anyway.

I cuddah swore stockers were
F-285/35/20
R-305/35/20
For 2013-2015

I’m looking for future track day tire purchase
Looking for a steal.
I’m not in a hurry as I have street tires to burn up first.
F-285/35/20 or 285/30/20
R-305/35/20 or 315/35/20 or 315/30/20

Nope, 285 35 20 on all 4. Rear rims are wider with a different offset but tires are the same size

Yep 285/35/20 is the factory tire size on the 1LE ,and the claim is the Chevy engineers have found that setup is best overall .

Considering how much understeer was in the stock setup, I'd agree with them wholeheartedly.

The guys who insist on going to fatter rear tires confuse me. I've spent good money trying to dial out as much of the understeer as I could, and there's still more to go.

A 295 up front and a 275 in the back would quell a bit of it, but if I went that route, a number of people here would violently shit themselves.

That's because most of those people that want wider rears never track the car and want more grip simply for a better launch.
