Bone dry catch can?

I have 2 catch can's that have been on about 200 fairly hard miles. One is an ebay special on the valve covers that caught a good amount of water and junk. The other one off the valley cover>throttle body is bone dry. Nothing, not even a film. Its as dry as the day I installed it. It's a UPR. I verified it does flow, and i have the lines hooked up to the appropriate ports. Anyone experience this before? I just can't believe there's nothing getting to the valley.

You verified it flows as far as the catch can or that it flows through the valley port?

Oh good point. I just pulled the line to the valley port and made sure I had vacuum through the can. The valley port doesn't have a check valve or anything does it?

Just went and checked, I have air flow through the valley port when it's free flowing to atmosphere, and it definitely smells like tequila. So I wonder if the UPR can just isn't catching anything? But I've never seen a can not even pick up a light film inside before.

I got a drop or two after about a full day of driving out of my MM catch can . That’s hooked up to the throttle body and oil filler cap. The install instructions also said if after few days of driving and no oil is catched ,check your intake if oily to switch from tb to valley port . Figured since the current setup is catching oil I wouldn’t change it . Haven’t checked if oil is on the inside of the intact tract yet .
