Painted my weighted stainless shift ball I got from Twisted Shifterz, If paint doesn't last, it's off to the powder coater. Hurst billet shifter is finally going to be installed tomorrow along with Powerstop Z26 pads.

Looks great.
Don’t forget to blacken the shift numbers and then clear coat might make it a last long time. But I’ve always liked the ole school white shift knob.

Thanks! Doing that next, hopefully the clear will yellow a little adding to the vintage look.

Changed outer toe rod on driver’s side. Steering is tight again. Snow tires and alignment hopefully this week. Waiting on dealership to get tires in.

Another color that will give you that look is canvas white.

If you can figure out how to first start the gasser and move it and then get my car off the lift before my 155 pound Great Dane ( jerry ) gets to you. Good luck. Besides that the key never leaves the car unless I’m out with the car then the key never leaves my pocket.

I love when people post pictures of stuff like this because it helps to inspire us with our own cars. I have gotten tons of ideas from this site and other members. The downside is that it has also lead me to spend a small fortune lol.

This right here is what it is all about. I’ve changed things a few times but it’s all coming together. Glad you like it and I just got the airbag by pass harnesses today so that will rap it up for now.
But I will say the floor liners and seats came together perfectly for what I was looking for. I’ve been on this site since 2009 and it keeps getting better. These cars are frigging addicting as hell.

The floor covers are from
Custom fit diamond floor mats.
I found on amazon. Don’t go cheap you get what you pay for. The ones in the car are close to 200 for front and back. But are different then regular floor mats. I have the camaro mats and a set of the plastic floor covers also. This was different then what I’ve been seeing and kinda gave a customer look. Hope this helps

Funny, that’s what came to mind when seeing the pic. If I had all those models I built from back then, I need a garage bigger than the one my real cars are in!
