No I did not suprisingly!! It is still pretty quiet back there, but my exhaust being so loud I don't think I'd hear anything if it was there. The one thing I do know is that it really tightened up the rearend to put the power down! No more wheel hop either.

Fixed the rubbing e-brake cables
And i had to re-adjust my parking brake pads . I made them to tight and they were grinding bad !!!!
My fault
But now awesome !!! No vibrations noises or anything seems to go into gear better in accelerate faster
Great mod !!! Only thing is I wish I got the carbon fiber one!!

Got it done finally on friday. Took my time blue locktight and mechanic tight on every bolt. All I can say is wow you would think going from rubber two piece ds to solid one piece ds would cause alot of clanging which it does on occasions, but it is offset with how smooth it is 90% of the time. I am conviced the random boggin I would get launching at the track was due to the rubber couplings fighting and bouncing with my slicks. Won't hit the track until later as I just want to be sure 100% nothing gonna rattle off, but I cant wait to just let it eat. Obvious improvments I noticed.

1. Less bogging when leaving from a stop or the.
ol bouncy idle out.
2. Yes I hear the shaft but barely by really paying attention over my loud ass long tubes.
3. Makes clutch engagement predictable.
4. Instant rpms now makes me spin on any rolls under 60mph (not a bakery fan) *315 nitto 555r* when before I would be able to do 45 or more
5. Speedometer is inaccurate 70mph is now 65 for me.
6. I smile alot more
7. Really brings the car to life although would recommend axles for all m6 guys but worth the stress relief when launching you balls off.
Will update track results hoepfully later.
6.

The driveshaft doesn't effect your speedometer.

Very cool. If you think it is tight and quicker now, just install a set of solid cradle mounts and feel the difference. It's awesome for sure !!

Convinced me to finally add a signature to my profile been stubbornly avoiding it. I owe all the knowledge I have in my head to this forum. Best community I have ever been a part of. As for solids that is a no go as I daily it a lot and Texas roads aren't the greatest currently have Bmr Pro bushing. Maybe if I grow a pair and buy a car hauler I will swap we will see.

I installed a DSS 3.5" aluminum shaft and have a ton of vibration at high speed. It starts around 75MPH but is really pronounced at 100+. Do you think that solid rear cradle bushings would help with that at all? If I cannot get the vibration under control I will need to get rid of the 1 piece.

Wow that sucks!!! I had a ton of vibration with my "stocker" and when I swapped out the DSS one it all seemed to go away. I have even run her up to 140mph and it is pretty smooth. I'm not too sure if installing the solid cradle bushings will help that because I had them installed way before the DSS one went in. You might have some other issue going on there. Maybe clutch and pressure plate issues? I have an auto. When I'm cruising at 75-80 on the interstate she is smooth as glass.
