QTP cutout problem, QTP said they can’t help me!
I am getting this on my QTP controller display: ER6
I sent this to QTP and they told me my controller is obsolete and they have no information on how to program it. Really pisses me off because the cutouts are only about 6 years old so how can’t they tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?? I can’t find any instructions online either or anything that tells me what ER6 means. Can anyone help me? Last time I deal with QTP, they are offering ZERO support of their product!! When I start the car I get ER6, push and hold both buttons on the switch. The display shows C and 1 is flashing and when I push the right button it changes to C 2 and the 2 is flashing. If I push the left button the display goes to CAL but nothing happens. What is the procedure to calibrate the cutouts? What does ER6 mean? |

I have QTP cutouts, but I don't have a controller display.

The cutouts are probably 6 years old but QTP said they were obsolete 10+ years ago. Nobody there can tell me any information on how to troubleshoot the problem. The cutouts worked fine until I disconnected the battery so I'm almost positive there is nothing wrong with them.
It looks like my only options is to pay more money to upgrade to the wireless controller. Nobody have been at QTP long enough to tell me how to troubleshoot this, this is total BS if you ask me! This is the controller display. |

Where did you purchase the cutouts, maybe they can offer support?

Maybe this will help you trouble shoot it. You may or may not have this already.

I did, sorry if I'm missing where OP purchased them, all I'm seeing is that they are QTP cutouts. If you see the vendor that sold them listed, seems like it would be easier to just answer Quote:
Nice job finding that! |
