Rafa blew away the field for Pole Position @ Mid-Ohio!
Then ran away from the pack for up to a 8 second lead. Lost his Power Steering at lap 11 and the car came to stop right off line bringing out a Full Yellow Caution with under 10 Minutes to go. His teammate & Team Owner also had Power Steering Issues. Too long between races and no practice time did them in. After that ( and these are some of my Best friends that run Race Control), they started a 1 Lap Green/White flyer. The Leader ( Thomas Merrill) went off in the Carousel and Scott Lagasse Jr took the Checker!. They later awarded the Victory to Merrill saying the Race should have ended up up Caution. 1 Team wrecked THREE Cars on that last lap. Good to finally see some Real Racing!
