I have found my car thanks to a good friend and this forum. More details and pics when I get it home. Many thanks for all the responses here. I had no less than 12 owners reach out to me, from coast to coast and all mileage and price ranges. There are a lot of very good Z/28's out there to be sold. Good luck to all.

I picked mine up yesterday after 3 weeks from being stored at my in-laws and after an amazing 30 mile drive home am having serious doubts about parting with it. It is just truly amazing to see how well these cars drive. I didn't think I'd ever pick this car in the garage over the Ferrari, but I just may from time to time... argh.

#1027 made it to its new home today. I'm very fortunate to have such a great Camaro friend who helped facilitate this deal. This car's story went from a sad ending to now a new beginning. Thankfully, this incredible Z/28 stays in Virginia. I can't even believe this happened so quickly and it's because of this forum and great friends.

It'll stay in the hangar for the winter but will be ready for track duty in March.

This is my 3rd Z/28 and (I hope) I've finally found my keeper.

It's a good life!

Interesting, those are my friends pictures of HIS car. Thats his photography. Too lazy to take pictures of your own car (whoever this seller is) , had to steal someone elses photos. weird.

That's kinda strange. A while back some overseas individual Shanghaied a picture of my 2LS for THEIR ad. I reported the incident to the Mods and no sooner had I hit "send" they deleted it. Nothing is safe in cyber world!
