Yea, right, very affordable for us westerners. $600 for round trip fuel is really affordable. Bet you didn't even check out Kansas City, which is very geographically centered for everyone in the US and Canada. The only
thing about southeast Georgia is that it is in your back yard.
There alot more vendors out west also. the CA members are looking at $750
in rd trip fuel.
I still think you should set up something for Denver, CO and call it Camaro5fest West and you guys can have your Camaro5fest East, which is what it really should be called.

Remember that kid in the corner of the playground who used to eat bugs and everyone picked on?

That kid used to beat me up.

Here's some distances from the farthest corners of US to
Kansas City, Missouri:
Miami..........1470 mi.
Maine..........1500 mi.
Detroit......... 800 mi.
Virg.Beach....1175 mi.
Seattle........1800 mi.
LA.............. 1675 mi.

Seattle, WA is 2924 miles,
San Francisco is 2700 miles,
LA is 2500 miles from the GA event.
That's aprox $1300 in fuel and hotels, and 6 days of driving just to get to and from the event, who's got that kind
of time and money to drive that distance??

Seems the organizers of this event would have taken this into account
to be in the best interest of ALL members.

Having been an Helo crewman for nine years I'm pretty sure I know how to read a map to dertermine time and distance. We aren't changing the location.

So, you coming or not? We can't please or accomodate everyone. The bottom line is SGMP is an elite facility, one of the very fastest/safest tracks in the country... So we took the opportunity to lock that venue in when they offered it to us.

Nothing else to dsicuss... So, you coming or not?

Feel free to send any further comments on this to me in a Private Message. I'll be gald to expalain further.

You coming?
