Tire size conundrum. Help me decide.

I have 20x9.5 wheels in the front
And 20x11 wheels in the rear

I currently have 275/40 in front
And 305/35 in the rear

I need to replace my fronts ( one has damage)

The 275/40 is slightly taller (mathematically) and I want to get something shorter.

What size would you go with?

I run a 10" wheel in the front and had 275/40 on them and the driver side rubbed the fenderwell edge, I went with a 275/35 and took care of that problem, also I am lowered 1.25 all 4 corners and run a 315/35 on the rear. Stance is in my sig pic. Hope this helps.

I would go up to a 285 as there seem to be tons of those available. If you want to do some digging, you could probably find a 295 that will work for you. You just need to read the specs on tire height min rim width for whatever you are looking at.

You need to stay within about half an inch in height between the front and rears. I think I am running about a 0.8 taller rear right now and I was afraid I was going to throw and ABS code. I run 305/30s on the front with 10" ZL1 wheels and Z28 struts/springs lowered an inch by a strut mod.

A lot depends on what you are trying to do as well. HPDE, autox, just for looks

I'm running on Nitto Invo's with 295/35R20 in the front with a 10" wheel with zero issues.
Works great on the road course. I am not lowered tho, so someone sitting lower might rub a bit.
