Yes, it really does. I debated for a long time between the Heritage and ZL1 grill, but I'm glad I went with the Heritage grill. I think this should have been the stock grill to begin with, but that's just my humble opinion.

Ordered mine without the bowtie backer but am interested in how some of you attached the small SS logo to the grill. Did you use the original emblem from the stock grill?

Thanks

I think they make a badge/bracket for it, but I have seen some guys here make their own.

lol, but it is a GOOD opinion sir!! I was going to do the ZL1 front swap, but everyone else was doing it, so I went the Heritage route and never looked back. So glad I did because it looks very classy...

I believe you can get the bracket from Emblem pros. Also I have the bowtie and bracket that came on mine that I took off just sitting around collecting dust. lol

Not a fan, I'll be sticking to the stock grill. I doubt very much it allows more air in.

I've been debating whether to get one. Not sure if I would want it painted to match the car or leave it black. Was never a fan of the stock grill.

Emblem pros makes the badge. He can do any color you need, just tell them you need a heritage grill emblem and they’ll take care of you. I just got mine. Trying to talk myself out of putting it on the opposite side it’s supposed to be.

As far as airflow goes, I don’t have any empirical data, but there is definitely a lot less material to go through/ around. Also, because the heritage grill is a lot narrower, I was able to add a powered tranny cooler behind it.

Overall I'm excited about the new look. This is the first time I've not had the billet grill covers on since I have owned it. (I had to show off the new braces )

Working on the car barefoot? ^^^

I gotta install mine already but it’s cold out. Plus also thinking of doing a tranny cooler while I have the bumper off.

Thinking I’ll run it unpainted to start. I’m guessing somewhere along the line I’ll want to paint it. Shouldn’t be to big of a deal.

I'm now thinking of getting the ZL1 grill. They're both better than stock.

I really love the Heritage grill but I found out I can't change it onto my Camaro without making other changes. However, all of the C5 grills look good(I like how mine is thin and looks as if it's giving you the "mean eyebrow look". I just love the damn Camaro C5.
